He was going to check and get back to me. It was all I could do to keep myself from going and buying one since my PAL card was in the mail when I got home and he is less than 5 mins from my house, but I did some research first and have read that they are decent for the price range. Does anyone here have one or had a chance to fire one? If so what do you think of the gun for plinking? On another note, I contacted the guys I bought guns from on Gunnutz and they will be on the way to me shortly. The Norinco JW-15.22 LR is the perfect rifle for those who enjoy small game hunting on a budget. This rifle will easily pick off rabbits and possums with ea. Considering how long it took for my wife to start talking to me again, I should have done a little more research. (lower-cost options ) I've heard that the Henry's are excellent rifles though, but like KC, I can't help you on the Norincos. BTW~not sure what other levers can/can't chamber ammo.-wise, but the Winchester can fire .22 short, long, and long rifle interchangeably. Pretty cool. OG

It is one of the finest .22 cal lever action rifles made and I believe the oldest still being manufactured. Too bad you didn't live closer.
